What we cover
The Internet of Things is a wide field with a narrow problem: most of what is written about it is either vendor marketing or academic. We sit in between. The weekly digest reads the week's announcements, standards updates, security advisories and funding news and keeps what matters, with a sentence on why. The guides explain how the pieces work, from a sensor's duty cycle to a cloud platform's device registry, in language an engineer and a buyer can both use. The glossary defines the vocabulary once, properly, with links between related terms.
Our second focus is where artificial intelligence meets things: models running on microcontrollers, vision on the camera itself, predictive maintenance built on vibration data, and agents that operate homes and factories. That coverage lives in AI meets Things and is also published as AIoT Report.
How we work
Internet of Things News is published by ARKé S.r.l., an architecture and engineering firm based in Rome, Italy, and edited with substantial help from AI tools for research, drafting and production. Every guide and glossary entry is reviewed for technical accuracy before publication and dated so that you know how fresh it is. Corrections are welcome and are noted on the page when made.
How we make money
The site is free to read. We plan to earn through company listings in the directory, job postings, affiliate links on product and tool recommendations, and sponsorship of the newsletter. Paid placements are always labeled. Editorial coverage is never for sale and advertisers do not see articles before publication.
