Cradlepoint, owned by Ericsson since 2020, makes cellular routers and adapters that connect vehicles, retail sites, kiosks and industrial equipment over 4G and 5G networks. The NetCloud service manages the devices centrally and adds SD-WAN, security and remote access features. Public safety fleets, retailers and utilities use the products for primary or failover connectivity, and the business now forms Ericsson’s enterprise wireless unit.
