Edge Impulse operates a development platform for machine learning on embedded devices. Engineers collect sensor, audio and image data, train models in the browser, and export optimized code for microcontrollers, Linux boards and NPUs from many silicon vendors. The platform includes data labeling, model profiling and deployment pipelines used in industrial monitoring, wearables, agriculture and consumer products. Qualcomm acquired the company in 2025 and continues to run the platform under its own brand.
