Murata Manufacturing produces ceramic capacitors, RF filters, sensors and wireless communication modules. Its Type 1 and Type 2 modules package Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips from NXP and Infineon, the Type 1SC and Type 1SJ modules use Sony Altair cellular chipsets for LTE-M and NB-IoT, and the Type ABZ modules combine a Semtech LoRa radio with an STM32 microcontroller. Device makers use Murata modules to shorten certification and RF design work.
